Baby by Isager is another super soft chainette-type yarn by Isager, along with Soft. (Formerly called "Eco Baby"
The main difference between Soft and Baby is that Baby is thinner (DK weight), not fuzzy/hairy and has more Baby Alpaca content.
But just like Soft, this gorgeous yarn is soft, light, airy and strong, thanks to the chainette structure. This allows more air into the "tube" so it's warmer in the Winter and cool and drapy in Summer.
The chainette also lends elasticity to these normally inflexible fibres, which makes this yarn much easier to work with!
It's also natural and undyed, i.e. no chemical dye treatment which makes it great for anyone with sensitivities or wool allergies.
We think it's perfect for babies and adults alike, and can be used for garments and accessories.
Oeko Tex standard 100 certified.
