Beaded Silk and Sequins Light

This luxurious light-weight silk yarn is made from 100% Regal Silk (untwisted, single ply) and is embellished with tiny glass beads made in Murano, Italy, and the best quality sequins in shimmering gold, silver, clear or black.
Each and every skein is hand-painted by artisans at the Artyarns studio.
This yarn has been developed, engineered and manufactured by Artyarns and is totally unique. A real joy to work with. We've never seen a photo which does it justice.
Ultra luxurious - there's nothing else like it. We love it in glitzy garments, shawls and hats!
(Note that the beads and sequins are either Clear, Gold, Silver or Metal. Metal means dark metallic grey.)
Note that colours 1004 and 925 are limited edition and unlikely to be repeated. When they are gone, they are gone. We also have matching limited edition Merino Cloud in these colourways!
Since this yarn hand-dyed, with no dye lots, no two skeins are exactly alike.

We recommend hand washing non-superwash, hand-dyed yarns.
Although Artyarns are very consistent with their colourways, all hand-painted skeins are unique. If your project uses more than one skein, you may want to alternate / stripe the skeins.
Block / wash in lukewarm water with some wool wash, and lay flat to dry. Artyarns set their dyes with steaming and thoroughly rinsing but differing water temperatures and chemicals can cause some dye to bleed in any yarn.
If you're pairing light and dark colours, we recommend washing your swatch first to test for colour-fastness. -
